Find Your Wild!

Join the Friends and other budding naturalists for a guided nature walk on two of the refuge’s wetland trails on Saturday, October 4th, at 10:00 AM. Take in the beautiful fall foliage from the elevated boardwalks of the Black and Maquam Creek Trails on a guided nature walk. The walk will begin at the trailhead parking area and venture out to Lookout Point. Along the way, you will discover and learn about the birds, plants, insects, and animals that call this wetland their home. This partial loop will cover 2.5 miles of flat ground and boardwalks. Bring your curiosity and your questions!
